About Our Pastor

Pastor Dan Hahn was the Director of Lutheran Statewide Advocacy, the New
York public policy office of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America,
from 1983 until coming to Grace in late 2009. He was the Pastor at Trinity
Lutheran Church (West Sand Lake) and Evangelical Lutheran Church
(Poestenkill) from 1976-1980, and Pastor at Good Shepherd Lutheran
Church (Loudonville) from 1980-1983. He currently serves as the Director of
Advocacy and Communications for the New York State Council of Churches in
addition to his service at Grace. He has a B.A. in English from Muhlenberg
College, a M.Div. from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia,
and and a M.A. in Communication from the University at Albany. In addition to
his pastoral work, Pastor Hahn was an adjunct faculty member at Empire State
College's Center for Distance Learning for more than a decade, developing
and teaching upper level communication courses. He lives in Loudonville
with his wife and two of his three grown children.
