Community Notes

The next First Monday Pot Luck Supper will be Monday, Feb. 6th downstairs at Grace! The pot luck supper gives us extra special time to get to know each other in a more personal way. Besides, it’s a great way to enjoy a banquet with very little trouble! As always, bring friends!

Everyone is invited to the Book Group. See you on Monday, February 20th, at 7 PM in the narthex at church. Caleb’s Crossing, by Geraldine Brooks, author of People of the Book, a past group selection, is the choice for the February Book Group get-together. Caleb was the first Native American to graduate from Harvard in 1665. Brooks takes this fact and weaves an incredible story that includes “passion and belief, magic and adventure”. In addition the Group continues to read selections from God:stories edited by C. Michael Curtis. This month we will discuss Exodus by James Baldwin.

Grace welcomes you to donate flowers for worship, read lessons during worship, host refreshments after worship, and bake bread for Holy Communion. Sign up sheets are on the Grace Bulletin Board.

The recipe for "Divine Inspiration Bread" for Communion is here.
