Schenectady Inner City Ministry (SICM) The first Sunday of each month is SICM food pantry Sunday and members bring food items and checks to support the Schenectady SICM food pantry.
Thrivent Habitat Build Work days are Wednesdays and Saturdays thru October. Please schedule your selected dates with Dawn Mengel at the Thrivent office by phone at 453-3500 or by e-mail at dawn.mengel@thrivent.com. The home we are building this year will be a “green” home. This means energy efficient and environmentally sustainable building practices will be used. Homes built using green building techniques are healthier, conserve natural resources, are more energy efficient, and are more durable.
Bethesda House Homeless Shelter We make 150 sandwiches after church on Sunday.
Salvation Army Soup Kitchen Grace Lutheran Church has committed to serve lunches at the Salvation Army in downtown Schenectady five times in the coming year.
